Yezdicianity

A monotheistic religion that worships Bhorra Yezdic, God That Walked Among Us.

Around 800 years ago, the One God Bhorra Yezdic was on Faewalk, preaching and performing various miracles - from walking on water and creating food to healing and restoration. He gathered enough believers to fuel the start of a religion. That angered the corrupt priests of other, false gods, and they demanded his death. When the Watchmen came to arrest him, Bhorra accepted all charges, saying he is meant to die for the sins of mankind. Not long after, he was executed by hanging. That act caused outrage among his followers, and strengthened their faith. Of course, destruction of the mortal shell doesn't mean much to a true deity. Four days after the hanging, Bhorra was resurrected and ascended to the Heavens. The faithful believe that He watches over them and awaits the time of dire need, when He will descend on Faewalk and Walk Among Us once more.

The symbol of Yezdicianity is a hanging noose, and that kind of execution is outlawed wherever this religion is present.
